Xiaomi Unveils World's First Smartphone With 64MP Camera [Video]

Xiaomi unveiled its new Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone featuring a 64MP camera this week. The device uses Samsung's new 64MP GM1 sensor and will be the world's first 64MP camera phone when it is released on September 3rd. Following close behind is the Realme XT which will be released on September 20th.

Redmi Note 8 Pro is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G90T processor, an octa-core CPU clocked up to 2.05GHz. Powering the gaming experience is Arm Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU with a max frequency of 800MHz, providing AI power up to 1TMACs. Combining this with the powerful LiquidCool system, Redmi Note 8 Pro can sustain peak performance for extended periods, so users can game high-speed and hassle-free.
